Arthritis tablets may adversely affect users who rely solely on Braille

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) recently issued a caution relating to a drug that treats adult patients with active rheumatoid arthritis or active psoriatic arthritis.

Global pharmaceutical company Sanofi informed the medical agency of the error on the Braille on the packaging of some batches of the Arava 10mg film-coated tablets. The affected batches were distributed in May 2016, August 2016,  September 2016 and October 2016 with batch numbers 5JK2A, 5JK3A, 5JK6G and 6EV2A accordingly.

Samsung Galaxy S7 camera glass is apparently “spontaneously shattering”

Samsung have had a rough time lately; unfortunately for them, things don’t look to be getting better anytime soon…

Following Samsung’s rough 2016 with many reports of Samsung mobiles ‘overheating and exploding’, and their washing machine tops detaching from the body, 2017 isn’t looking any better as Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge and S7 Active owners are complaining that the glass on their smartphone camera is “shattering spontaneously!”

Californian Man sues Tesla after his car suddenly accelerated into his home

A Californian man in the U.S. has filed a lawsuit against Tesla after his Model X SUV vehicle allegedly accelerated on its own, crashing into his garage, through the walls, and into his living room!

The claimant, as the driver, and his passenger, both suffered injuries in the crash. The lawsuit was brought to court with an application to make it a group class action as another seven (7) cases were cited to have similar allegations against Tesla as well.

Samsung S6 “overheating and smoking” on flight to Taipei

If you thought the whole Samsung exploding phones saga had gone away, you’re sadly mistaken.

In a recent report, a Samsung Galaxy S6 model travelling to Taipei had allegedly ‘overheated and emitted smoke’. The Civil Aeronautics Administration and Aviation Safety Council who are investigating into the matter said that the passenger’s Galaxy S6 emitted smoke as it was crossing Philippine airspace.

In recent years, problems that have been linked to the use of the pumps have reportedly caused dozens of deaths. As such, health authorities and the manufactures are in the process of taking appropriate action, and we’ll be looking in to whether there is any negligence here.

Following the mass recall of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, which turned out to be susceptible to explosions and fires, Apple may well have enjoyed a competitive advantage off the back of one of their main rivals as Samsung’s sales plummeted and costs to fix their mistake run in to the billions.

But it turns out that this may have been short lived, as reports are suggesting that an Apple iPhone 7 caught on fire in Australia recently.
