This was a Class 2 Medicines recall for own-brand glycerine and blackcurrant cough syrup products manufactured for children by <em>Bell, Sons &amp; Co<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>As these are marketed as own-brand products, it\u2019s the likes of Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury\u2019s and Tesco at the centre of this recall.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Brands affected by the cough syrup mould recall<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The brands affected by the cough syrup mould recall include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Asda;<\/li>\n<li>Morrisons;<\/li>\n<li>Sainsubury\u2019s;<\/li>\n<li>Superdrug;<\/li>\n<li>Tesco;<\/li>\n<li>Wilko.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other brands are also involved, and you can find the full list below.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 15 batches have been recalled. The recall stemmed from reports of mould in the products.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Time to check if you\u2019re affected by the cough syrup mould recall!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Cold season is in full swing.
